Re: Current interviews
Can the interviewer stick the camera any closer?? Any closer it'll be in his ass.
I'm having a hard time viewing the pores on his skin....please, we need this in blue ray.

Robocop days! jajajajaja
No, but the interview is amazing, anyway, the camera was I suppose on the interviewer's eyebrow or ear or something
The best part is when Jens says the craziest audience is in "southamerica, spain and places like this" . Robo, you must come here to see them next april!

I wish I would come to Spain right now to swim in the ocean nude. Then listen to celestial dream.

Re: Current interviews
My interview should be up shortly, we run into problems with interviews because we really only have one editor, and how I do my interviews is to simply record the call and then transcribe it. This is more than 2000 words, which is just hell to transcribe and edit.

Re: Current interviews
The new issue of German Metal Hammer features an interview with Timo and Jens, there are some nice statements which aren’t featured in the online video interview http://www.metal-hammer.de/magazin/feat ... mesis.html though, so I’ll post some of the other statements here:
Jens talking about the need of good musicians in a band: “In the past it wasn’t usual to use backing tapes that much, but nowadays they’re everywhere. No need to wonder why Justin Bieber can even sing while vomiting.”
About the album title, Jens says “Matias came up with the name. Probably he just thought it to be cool and didn’t even know the meaning behind it back then.”
Metal Hammer talks with them about the new “democracy” after TT left (Metal Hammer called TT the “former dictator”) and then mocks the lyrics in Fantasy, especially the “fantasy can become reality”-part, and Timo and Jens laughing about it: “That was Lauri’s idea. The demo version was actually called “Save The World”. Then Lauri changed it – and here you have why our new democracy in the band can also bear some problems – when we choose a song to appear on the album, it WILL appear. Also when the composer suddenly changes the lyrics.” And Jens: “For Elysium, we sorted out many of Lauri’s songs, which surely was kind of unfair to him, but of course we can’t release a two-hours-album” (why not…) and Timo adding: “In the past you were touring to sell your albums. Nowadays it’s the other way round. But we’re dumb enough to spend a lot of money to make the album and to make it sound good, although you hardly make any money out of it nowadays. But that’s how we want it! We could record an album for a third of that money, but that’s not how it works for us. Fortunately metal fans still buy CDs, they are the last remaining loyal fans. That’s what saves our asses, and the asses of the labels and the of whole scene.”

In German, but interesting. Timo says that Matias was "homeless" for some months because his rental agreement wasn't extended due to the house being sold or something like that, so Matias had to sleep in the studio for months and literally spent 24/7 on the new album. And he jokes that the darker guitar sound may come from Matias having been pissed about having to sleep in the studio for such a long time

Re: Current interviews
Germany's biggest boulevard newspaper BILD currently features Nemesis as "Metal Hammer album of the week" at their online platform, and you can listen to the album stream in full length
http://www.bild.de/unterhaltung/musik/a ... .bild.html
I'm not sure if I like that or not because BILD is by far the downpoint of German media business, but maybe that at least helps increasing Strato's popularity in Germany

one of the most interesting interviews by now imo, gives some good insight about the writing and producing of the songs and how they work together!

Is he implying they held back Jens in the past?!?.......Matias is a bit more crazy and is willing to give Jens a chance to have more of his strange sounds on the album

Matias: Jens, we've been through this, we can't put Kill It With Fire on the album, it's too... keyboard-y.robocop656 wrote:Is he implying they held back Jens in the past?!?
Jens: But it's a great song, the fans will love it!
Matias: Jens, you disappoint me. You want to see your family again, don't you?
Jens: *sigh* Yes... yes I do...
Matias: I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you correctly.
Jens: *even bigger sigh* Jawohl, mein Führer...
Matias: That's the spirit!
