I will be there!
It's the 100th year commemoration of the Armenian genocide in Turkey, so this is a once in a lifetime thing.

Thank the Turks for attempting to eradicate the Armenians, then. (Of course, the Turks still deny that it happened).

Re: System Of A Down concert in Armenia
the show was EPIC. it was really awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g0Uq8celBc
Armenia was pretty cool. Girls look nice, and the food's awesome. I might teach there for a year.
I have a bit of a funny story of when I got there. I booked my hostel online. The hostel told me they'll send a driver for me when I get to the airport. When I got to the airport, the driver looked like a mafia guy. He had a business suit on, with nice shoes and sunglasses. He even had a scar on his upper lip. If you were making a mafia movie and needed an actor, he was your guy. I mean, what kind of a hostel driver dresses like that? So I thought if I followed this guy, I won't see my family again.
I get to his car, guess what, it's a mercedes. When I got in, I made sure you can open the door from the inside. So I just told him to drop me downtown. I know the chances of him being a gangster is almost none, but I got scared and didn't wanna take any chances.
