I've been listening all this month to the new album The great scape by SW and I like it a lot. It is an amazing band. But I feel they are too soft. The lyrics/rythms are very very soft. I like that, but not always. I mean, they could try something more aggressive. Anyway, this band is wonderful and let's hope they find a new good drummer.

The only remarkable songs I found in TGE are "Wiseman" and "Move On Through": Right now after a few more listen the title track sounds just boring. And I don't think they are a purely exclusive prog metal band, more like symphonic proggresive; that's why we are still not finding that thing that makes our head explode =P

Agreed :D! Listening to "Autumnal" right now :D! It sounds AMAZING :D! My favorite album, however, is "Tarot".

Only thing that sucks, is that I had to download all the artwork by myself. And some of them I couldn't even find artwork :x. Oh well. Awesome power metal bands and albums for the win!!!! :D :D :D

He found a piece of parsley floating in it and asked the bartender "what's this"? To which he replied- "that's central park!!".

Finally, I have bought some CDs...

1) OSI-Blood - great, great, great one... I love Moore :) One minus: it's too short (47 minutes) My favorite track: Blood
2) Shadow Gallery - Digital Ghosts - I had it earlier only in mp3s. Very good CD with long tracks(I like it), very powerful, i like synth work on it. What a pity the concert in Poland was cancelled
3)Mullmuzzler - "Keep it to yourself" - LaBrie side project, it's more power than prog, first track (His Power) reminds me more Sonata Arctica, than Dream Theater.
4)Seven The Hardway - s/t - Tony McAlpine&Virgil Donati new band. Some good track and great Donati work here, very few synth, a lot of guitars, harshy vocals make me sometimes hard to listen, and I feel a disonance between proggy verses and radio-like choruses (like SX or last DT CDs)
5)King Crimson - Lizard - I haven't listened to it more than once, so I can't say at this moment anything
6)Muse-Resistance - I break from metal - not as good as Absolution, but worth buying

I haven't bought Elysium yet, but I will certainly do it in few days!

Outside rock/metal I recomend Histoire du Soldat of Igor Strawinsky. Great work. I was shocked when I read that was written in 1918.

And a question. There is a Steve Lukather solo concert in few weeks. Is it worth going? Someone has been?

I lost my virginity to this song in 3rd grade in the bathroom of a library on friday the 13th during a waning crescent under a frozen twilight.
