A Lion Licks a Wounded Gnu??

Post by AAAAAAAAAA » Sun Nov 03, 2013 7:19 am

A star falls down from the darkened sky
Where new worlds born and die
Kingdom Animalia watches its approaching glow
What it means is soon to be known

Beneath the lovely birch honeymakers build their nest in peace
On the savannah a lion licks a wounded gnu
To honor this moment even the heavens cease
Giant spiders learn how to swim
With whales they form a united kin

Snakes say hello to the rats on the ground
In the meadows play merrily the fox and the hound

Trilobite & Anymalocharis
The prey and the hunter
Survival of the fittest
Fall of Man

Seadrops foam all empty human skulls
Those on the shores of Atlantis
Darwin's resurrection is witnessed
By turtles he used to play with

Healed and happy She oversees
The Mother
The tyrant's return to the sea
Did the lion cause the injury?
Does licking help?

Discuss please.

 HUH! PFFFF...

Ten thousand big, black ships come down from light blue skies,

Dark times take over, and the old light one, dies,

The humans gaze, in fear at burning glow,

In panic wonder, but they soon will know.

The forests and the grounds will burn in flame,

On the savannas lions eat their cubs, and blame,

The scary gnus that chase and kill,

And rats, with snakes their stomachs fill,

The foxes chew up poodles, as their breakfast toast,

And also cats, if they can find and roast.

This is survival of the gay,

They are the only ones, allowed to stay,

Their useless semen drop as empty beads,

They all live on the shore in English Leeds.

Mr Darwin would rotate into his grave,

If he had known his turtles can't be saved,

Nor be healed, not even survive,

When scary tyrant alienships will take their hive,

And no living soul, except those damn gay,

Can fly....

PS: I haven't forgotten your birthday. Hipp hipp! I baked a cake and ate it...

What? In the land of Jeremy Kyle, The Only Wau is Essex, Made in Chelsea and Katie Price's inexplicable continuing fame, THIS surprises you? One Direction were spawned as an X-Factor by-product, surely you realise all of this is a monument to the stupidity of the British public, correct?

GOD SAVE TO ROGER WATERS!!!!!

the only british man that i love for this!!!

Image A Roger Waters will suck the English Come and celebrate the Falklands War

The musician said "you all know what my position on the war, but held that disgusts me." When asked who was "The dark side of the moon" (the dark side of the moon), no George Bush hesitated to respond. Margaret also criticized Galtieri and Thatcher.

"I reflect the pain of others and that pain is reflected in me.'m Committed to do it and maybe that's a compulsion, but not from the psychiatric point of view", stated the artist in the context of a small press conference was held at the Sheraton Hotel.

With willingness to respond very carefully and lucidly each requisitions raised - since none of them , as requested by his assistants , referred to his relationship with former Floyd David Gilmour , the creator prefaced his second series of performances in Argentina with an interesting talk that linked their sensitivity and timeliness .

As an example , he named much of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and the victims of the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq as motivators of his work, in which his intention is "to find the essence of the human being " .

" I learned that judges continue to meet the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and the pain , the hole that they have to have lost their children - exemplified - it's a pain in everyone ."

The guitarist and singer also hinted at melancholy burden present in his music and that " in my case allows me to connect to the people I see as innocent , when I get pictures like those of Baghdad definitely feel empathy because there are innocent children. there must be communion with the melancholy that perhaps is the support for me to move on. "

Maker in front of Pink Floyd 's album " The Dark Side of the Moon " ( The Dark Side of the Moon) , considered one of the ten most influential albums in rock history , which holistically address in their shows in Argentina , I asked about who now represents the dark side of the Earth and Waters no hesitation in pointing to U.S. President George W. Bush.

In relation to the 25th anniversary of the Falklands War and the British celebration for winning war , the performer born on September 6, 1943 in Great Bookham said : "Everyone knows what my position on that conflict , I think diplomats were certain movements that could have been done differently to avoid reaching that situation, but I do not like wars and disgusts me to be held . "

Then he added that " everyone knows how I feel about Magaret Thatcher , who falls into that category of ` georgebushiano ' , or disgusting people " and to not isolate the duo also added there Argentine dictator Leopoldo Fortunato Galtieri .

I don't like Waters very much. He seems to be a very nasty, self absorbed egomaniac. If you read the old Pink Floyd biographies you'll know what I mean. I far prefer David Gilmour, who is both a talented musician and a nice person.

I don't think the band that made Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here should then write songs condemning Margaret Thatcher and the Falklands War... that is just stupid on every level.

And honestly, criticizing George W. Bush and speaking out against war & violence does not make him some kind of enlightened, intellectual Mother Teresa figure... that is really the path of least resistance.

To me, he's a pseudo-intellectual wanker, a-la Tolkki. Or Geoff Tate!

When Waters left Pink Floyd, he even sued his former bandmates to prevent them from using the name...

Sound familiar??

Disclaimer: this is just my opinion. I totally respect your right to disagree. And I do concede that Waters has produced some very good music over the years. Although he's been milking "The Wall" a few decades too long, in my opinion...

I don't have a problem with his specific political opinions. I just don't like that he uses his music as a platform for his political views. I think opinions are a dime a dozen...I prefer people who set a good example rather than preach. But I understand where you're coming from.
I see all the videos of dark side of the moon!!!
Check out this video, I think you'll really like it:

http://vimeo.com/33976373

It impressed me anyway. Its an animation based on the famous 19th century painting "The Scream", but set to Pink Floyd music.

In that painting, the mysterious figure has just been told that Timo Tolkki is working on yet another Avalon record... :nervous:

as david gilmour put it
all roger records was "you fuck me up this way" and "you fuck me up this way"
I rather listen to man on a island than the opera rock waters did a couple of years ago, is fucking dense.

i love all your "interpretations" of the pink floyd discography, in a sense that waters did all alone, so richard , nick and david were there just for the photo sessions.

i guess the song mother and the line that reads "mother do you think theyll drop the bomb" have to do something with waters father being killed in WW2 but that you mention Syd is the inspiration for everything, it makes more sense.
