My old friends from Wyzards doing the 'Lizards' segment of the fan favorite 'Phantoms n' Lizards'.

The song was written and orignally recorded as a 16 track analog demo in 1980-81, but this particular version was completely rearranged, re-recorded and remastered as a CD in 1997.

Yup- close to Tolkki's age, but I was born a year later in 1967- the so-called 'summer of love' (and not to mention stinky, dope-smoking, hippies rolling around in the mud)!

Although the music itself is older, I think that they did a good job at giving it a more contemporary update to the overall sound of the track itself.

"All of the World" is a nearly nineteen minute epic composition by my old friends in Wyzards. Unlike the majority of the other material on "The Final Catastrophe" CD, which was composed and originally recorded in 1980-1981, this particular track was written in 96/97 shortly before the album was recorded at Sound Resources, which is owned by Wyzards' bassist/vocalist/keyboardist Steve Babb, also of Glass Hammer.

Steve sings the intro and outro parts, while guitarist David Carter handles the vocals in the middle. There are some fearsome guitar and keyboard solos as well from David, in addition to co-producer and Glass Hammer keyboardist, Fred Schendel.
