why do you people accuse Timo of being snotty or disrespecting his fans? I mean, it cannot be easy to come from Finland to South America or where ever! And another thing, if a person writes in Finnish it is customary and polite to answer in the same language! Maybe the person writing in Finnish has something important to ask and wants to be sure to get it right? (I´m Finnish and hope that I have written this right) Ok, enough preaching. I think, like the other brazilians fans, that you SHOULDN´T cancel your tour because of the dollar. Did you think that you could lose all of your fans because of this? I know you, Finnishes, think that you are superior just because you are blondies, blue eyes and sexies, like, you Kotipelto, but you lose one more fan because you only thinks about " how much you would earn". Now, I will respect Stratovarius not because of you, but because of Timo Tolkki and the other guys, except you.
 This is the truth about the Kotipelto-Brazil-tour!
I didn't cancel the tour! Me and the guys in the band wanted to do the tour and I was calling everyday to the booking agency and beggin them to organize the tour. It would have been a dream for me to come there with my own band. I was VERY sad that it didn't happen. It was cancelled by the local promoter there in Brazil. He probably misunderstood our booking agency or something. If somebody is saying that I did cancel it he is lying! I was the one who tried to get it done, eventhough all the other countries (Chile, Columbia and Mexico were cancelled!!!). We wanted to play in other countries too and the promoter promised us that we can play 6 shows in 4 different countries. Suddenly they were cancelled and there was only 3 shows in Brazil. I told them that we want to do them because I love Brazil and would like to play there and also spend some holiday after the tour.
Once again, I tried my best and hoped from the bottom of my heart that it would happen. I was sad and unhappy that it didn't happen. I am not responsible what other people do but at least I tried to show how much I care for my Brazilian fans and wanted to play over there.As you might know except in Finland we only played 1 show in Germany but it would have been 3 shows in Brazil alone! And still some people can say I don't care about Brazilian fans! It makes me even more unhappy to notice that some people don't realize how the things really are :(
I do hope this tour could happen in the future.

How could it happen?? Dollar? Your true fans would go to your concert, no matters how expensive it is. Okay, what if the tickets were cheaper, I'm sure you'd earn money anyway...

read my answer above. It was not because of the money. I would have done it for free but couldn't do anything if the tour is cancelled by some other people! :(
